The original concept of Ecoworld was established in 1993.  Ecoworld at that time provided specialised services using bio-remediation or microbe technology (natural micro-organisms) for the clean up of Liquid Organic Waste (LOW), specialising in treatment of septic tanks, dairy effluent ponds and grease traps.

Soon after that Ecoworld was approached by the Grander organisation from Europe, who were looking to expand globally and were seeking international distributors. Ecoworld's environmental image and philosophies attracted an invitation from Grander to become New Zealand's agent and sole distributor for the Grander Technology, specialising in "Water Revitalisation" and its applications. During this time Ecoworld also expanded into water filtration and purification, and a full range of water treatment systems and services for the domestic, rural and industrial sectors.

Now with more then 19 years experience in the water treatment industry, Ecoworld has a wealth of knowledge and experience in water purification and revitalisation, and treatment methods and systems.

More recently Ecoworld has been appointed by Dux Industries as New Zealand's sole service provider for the Dux Actamatic Grease Converter and the Dux Endura Grease Converter, and now works closely with an increasing clientelle in the hospitality industry, and councils, in the area of kitchen liquid waste management.

A successful septic tank trial conducted in association with Waitakere City Council using "Septi-Cure" has seen an expansion in ECOWORLD's client base using this natural and environmental product.

By caring for water both before and after use, Ecoworld is helping in the restoration of water to a more pristine quality with the use of innovative products, and methods that include natural and environmental processes.
